This Is Our Story
Prado Trucking has been a family owned and operated business since 1998. Our history all begins with Federico Prado Sr. who migrated from Mexico to the United States on December 25th, 1962. With dreams for a better life, he started off as a migrant worker doing manual labor in the fields of the San Joaquin Valley. He eventually became a self-taught mechanic and would assist in repairing machines and tractors in the fields. On weekends, he would pick up side jobs repairing vehicles and engines while teaching his two sons mechanics in his garage.
In 1998, Federico Prado and his two sons decided to combine their knowledge of agriculture and passion for trucks. The three formed what is known today as Prado Trucking. After years of hard work and dedication, Prado Trucking has been able to create trusted partnerships and establish a name for itself in the agriculture and trucking industry within the Central Valley.
Today, Prado Trucking is operated by Fred Prado with the help of his two sons, Jairo, Andre, and his youngest brother Gabriel.

Fred Prado - Co-Founder & Senior Advisor
Fred is now happily enjoying retirement but still serves as a senior advisor for his two sons and younger brother. With over 30 years in the industry Fred has seen it all.
Gabriel Prado - Dispatch & Professional Driver
Managing of logistics and billing. Gabriel monitors routes, updates call logs, and records call information. Gabriel also holds his Class A to ensure any load can be covered at any given time regardless of the circumstances.
Jairo Prado - Financing & Human Resources
Oversees payroll, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance and workplace safety. Jairo is a one man army.
Andre Prado - Diesel Technician & Preventative Maintenance
Andre's role is imperative to Prado Trucking. Conducting repairs and maintenance to our fleet of rigs aiming for maximum reliability.
